General Kitchen Assistant – Permanent Position
10 hours per week (2hrs/day. 12pm – 2pm)
Monday to Friday (Term Time Only + 7 days)
Band 3 SCP 3 £12:85 / hour
Start Date – As soon as possible
Silsden Primary School manage our own successful catering provision. We are looking to expand our team and recruit a reliable and hard-working General Kitchen Assistant to join our existing team of Catering Staff.
We are looking for someone with a positive approach to this key role. Relevant catering experience is not essential. Full training will be given for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the school Catering Manager to provide a complete catering service within a school environment.
- To support the Catering Manager and Assistant to prepare, cook and serve over 350 meals for a set time and in accordance with Quality Procedures.
- Prepare the dining room and service area. Serve the meal attractively and hygienically.
- Undertake daily cleaning routines of the kitchen and equipment
